Who needs Canada eTA

The Canadian electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is required for visa-exempt foreign nationals flying to or transiting through Canada. US citizens are exempt and may enter Canada with a valid passport alone.

The eTA is valid for five years or until your passport expires. It is electronically linked to your passport and covers multiple entries.
